专家简介:Professor John Forster is the Research Leader and principal research scientist in the division of molecular genetics at Centre for AgriBioscience, Agriculture Victoria and La Trobe University, Australia.  Prof. Forsters achievements include the cloning and characterisation of the first B-chromosome-specific DNA sequences from plants (maize and rye), isolation and analysis of species-specific repetitive DNA sequences in pasture grasses and use to explore chromosome structure and evolution, and the development of first-generation molecular marker systems for perennial ryegrass and white clover. He has published 145 articles with 3,973 citations and an H-index of 38.92.
