    Julia Chekanova博士，美国密苏里大学堪萨斯分校任教，多年来从事RNA加工机理及长链RNA调控基因表达的研究，利用拟南芥和酵母等经典真核模式生物，揭示了该领域很多重要的生物学现象，尤其擅RNA外切复合物的工作机制等相关研究，是RNA生物学研究领域的知名专家。在Cell、 Current Biology、Nucleic Acids Research、Current Opinion in Plant Biology、PLoS Genetics等国际顶级期刊上发表文章20多篇。
